It’s complicated
The mix of emotions stirring inside my chest
The way my tongue ties into tangled knots
Whenever you happened to come my way
How I’d completely lose myself
In the rush of adrenaline that streams throughout my limbs
Blood boiling uncontrollably in the passageways
That was pulsating veins thumping maddeningly against my skin
Hot and sweaty whenever your muscle,
Scattered with golden specks shimmering under the vast canvas of goldened skin
Baking under the buttery sunlight that poured over the contours
Of your face
Lightly brush past me
Could you see it?
The desperation in my longing eyes
Could you feel it?
The passionate flame that kindled in the center of my being
The heat that seeped from my pores, sweltering crystal blue beads
Streaming down
Of course, you can’t
You’ll never understand it
The absolute love I exude for you
The depth of my devotion
It is never ending, never dying
Never ceasing to exist
As long as you graced this earth with your footsteps
As long as your smile broke my heart into streams of sorrow
And sent me soaring into an infinite rapture that was you...
